The Drive

Our Mission

The Drive Methodist Church aims to be faithful to the commandments of Jesus and the calling of The Methodist Church.

Our Lord Jesus Christ said: ‘Our Lord Jesus Christ said: The first commandment is, “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one; you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.” The second is this, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself.” There is no other commandment greater than these.’ ‘I give you a new commandment, that you love one another just as I have loved you’

The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.

In seeking to be faithful to these aims The Drive Methodist Church is committed to:

  1. Providing a weekly opportunity for all people to worship God in Christ through the Spirit
  2. Enabling people to grow and learn as Christians, through mutual support and care
  3. Being a good neighbour
  4. Sharing our Faith with others

Please visit our website to find out more about how we aim to achieve these goals.
